Bénédicte Amphimaque - DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING

Dr. Amphimaque is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI). She was born in the French Caribbean Island of Martinique where she spent her early childhood. She then moved to the seaside city of Arcachon, Southwest of France. She is a 2017 graduate of VetAgroSup, Campus Vétérinaire de Lyon in France. After a year of ERASMUS at the University College Dublin and multiple externships in European and North American veterinary hospitals, she completed a small animal rotating internship in Paris, in one of the busiest French referral centers. Right after, she was accepted into a four-year radiology residency at Bern Vetsuisse Fakultät in Switzerland.She is the author and co-author of scientific publications in international veterinary journals with a special focus on neuroimaging. Bénédicte spends her time either scuba diving in the clear blue waters of her native island or hiking the snowy peaks of the Swiss Alps. Her hobbies include music, fashion and art. You’ll find her either hopping on a plane or riding her Dutch warmblood stallion called Quick Jet.

Jana Jankovic graduated with honours in 2015 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia. After graduation she worked for 2 years in Veterinary clinic ‘’Novak’’, Belgrade, Serbia. In 2017 she enrolled in a Rotating Internship program at the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen, Germany.

After successfully completing the Rotating Internship, she started in 2018 a Speciality Internship program in Internal Medicine and in 2020 she finished her Doctoral thesis about canine thyroid tumors and tumor-derived organoids at the Vetsuisse University Bern, Switzerland. In 2023 Jana finished a Residency program of American College of Internal Medicine (ACVIM) at the same university.

Biography

Simon graduated from the University of Cambridge and after two year in small animal practice under took a residency at the University of Bristol in Small Animal Medicine and Intensive Care. He gained the European Diploma in Small Animal Medicine.

He is currently head of internal medicine at Dick White Referrals and a director of the internship program. He sees cases in all areas of internal medicine but has special interests in infectious disease, transfusion medicine and interventional radiology.

European Specialist in Neurology and Neurosurgery

Max graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2015 with an integrated degree in pathology and veterinary epidemiology. Following graduation, he spent a short time working in charity clinics in the Caribbean before returning to the UK to work for three years in a busy first opinion and referral hospital in London. In 2019 he completed a rotating internship and postgraduate certificate in veterinary medicine and surgery (University of Nottingham) at Dick White Referrals - a multidisciplinary referral centre in Cambridgeshire – one of the largest private referral hospitals in Europe. Max stayed at the same clinic to complete his three-year ECVN residency in neurology and neurosurgery, which he completed in 2022. Max became a diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Neurology in early 2023. He

currently works as a senior surgeon at Fitzpatrick Referrals.
